LightCandi LED FAQs

Q: How do LightCandi lights work?

A: LightCandi skate wheel lights and wearable lights use a patent-pending, weatherproof, impact-resistant design! They're packed with bright 3mm LEDs, and they're powered by eight long-lasting button cell batteries.

Q: How do LightCandi lights turn on and off?

A: LightCandi lights automatically power on when they sense movement. They also power off automatically -- no switches or buttons necessary!

Q: How long do LightCandi lights last?

A: Our lights' button cell batteries are small but mighty: When used on skateboards and roller skates, frequent riders can expect to get around 6 to 8 months of battery life. Occasional skaters can expect longer battery life.
Our wearable lights use the same LEDs and batteries, and have the same estimated battery life if worn regularly. Save your lights for raves and special nights, and they can last up to two years!

Q: Are LightCandi lights waterproof?

A: Our lights are sealed to be all-weatherproof. That means they can hold up to wet pavement, mud, rain, snow, and precipitation outdoors. We don't recommend submerging them, or wearing them while swimming or bathing.

Q: How do I install the lights on my board or skates?

A: Easy! Our lights are designed to conveniently snap onto standard skate truck and roller skate wheel nuts -- no tools or disassembly necessary! Just pop 'em on and off with mild hand pressure.
Once installed, our lights can withstand big jumps and hard landings, high-speed cruising, rail grinding, dropping into pipes and bowls, and anything else you can throw at your skateboard or roller skates.
